Golf Fitness Training Programs

 

Individual Training

 

I primarily offer individual golf fitness / golf performance training based on the results of test screens that show me barriers and limitations to your best swing.  I use a functional movement screen and video analysis to pinpoint areas that need attention.  Once I have determined what work needs to be done, I design a program for you.  Typically, an individual program involves weekly or bi weekly sessions.  You can work at an accelerated pace if you want to see more immediate results, but I don't recommend more than 3 sessions a week though.

 

 

Group Training

 

Intended for groups of from 6 to 20 golfers, it's a pre-season conditioning program that takes the golfer through a 3 month program aimed at 1) clearing functional barriers; 2) strengthening and balancing target muscle groups, while increasing range of motion; and 3) developing explosive power in the swing.  I can conduct group training at your facility, a nearby gym or community center.  The bulk of the training utilizes your bodyweight, but progresses in intensity as it moves through the power training.  There is also a cardiovascular training component, incorporated as warm up and power development exercises.

 

 

Foursome Training

 

Work with your regular foursome, or form a new one.  Working with a familiar group of avid golfers adds enjoyment and inspiration (and maybe a little competitive edge) to golf fitness training.

 

 

Corporate Team Building

 

Group program for up to 10 people that includes a golf fitness assessment, counseling for on-course nutrition and golf fitness training demonstration.  It's a great way to pull together staff members for a morning or afternoon and facilitate team building through a group learning evironment.
